Computers slow down over time - not because they're worn out, but because they accumulate junk. Startup programs pile up, drives fill with temporary files, and background processes eat up memory. A tune-up addresses all of this without wiping your machine or replacing anything. Most tune-ups can be done remotely in a single session.
Startup Program Cleanup
Identifying and disabling programs that launch at startup and slow down your boot time - keeping only what you actually need.
Junk File Removal
Clearing temporary files, browser cache, old update files, and other accumulated clutter that wastes space and slows things down.
Background Process Review
Finding processes that run in the background and consume memory or CPU without any benefit to you.
Windows Update Check
Making sure Windows and drivers are current, and resolving any stuck or failed updates that may be causing issues.
Storage Health Check
Checking your drive for errors and assessing whether it's healthy or showing early signs of failure.
Browser Cleanup
Removing unnecessary extensions, clearing bloat, and making sure your browser isn't being slowed down by add-ons you didn't ask for.
Antivirus & Security Check
Confirming your antivirus is active, up to date, and not conflicting with other software.
General Performance Review
A look at overall system health - RAM usage, disk space, and settings - with honest recommendations if an upgrade would help more than a tune-up.
Most tune-ups are done entirely remotely - no need to disconnect your setup or haul anything anywhere.
If your machine is too old or underpowered to meaningfully improve, I'll tell you that upfront rather than take your money on a job that won't make a real difference.
A tune-up is a tune-up. I won't push you toward a new computer or extra services unless there's a genuine reason.
